Hi, I'm Filippa and I represent PCV views at some of the official Local Authority and NHS professionals meetings. I find this rewarding because I am able to put across the real views of carers to managers who make the policy and decisions that directly affect our parent carers on a local and even national level. It feels like we can make a difference. It's great we are invited to these meetings and we are always looking for others who might want to attend them on behalf of PCV. It's just one of the different roles and services in PCV. I find PCV friendly, welcoming, supportive, unjudgemental and great at highlighting the different resources out there for carers.
